OUR POLICY CONCERNING FOREIGN PRODUCTS

AMERICA FIRST

This business makes every effort to sell products MADE IN USA.  We do not knowingly purchase flags or materials to make flags from foreign suppliers, except for those situations in which there is no alternative.  An example would be silk material, which is almost always made overseas.  The following are products made in USA:

  • All civilian Service Flags and Lapel Pins
  • All military streamers
  • All U.S. Flags

The following products are made in USA, but in some cases might have foreign components:

  • Custom commissioned historic flags, when noted.  Foreign components usually are restricted to certain materials, which may be made overseas even though purchased from U.S. suppliers.  (Example: silk for Union Civil War flags)
  • Custom production Flags (same as above)

While it is certainly true that foreign trade helps all countries improve the lives of their citizens, we feel that it is in the best interest of any country to foster its own industries.  With that in mind, and in as much as it is possible to do, so we will not purchase products, or components for our own products, from foreign sources, especially Communist countries such as China, when an American supplier or vendor is available.  As anyone who has purchased a computer, television, or has shopped at WalMart knows, this is a daunting task.  Again, it is important to acknowledge the benefits of free trade; it is also important to recognize that any country that does not avail itself of domestic manufacturers that provide quality products is setting itself up for future disaster - as history has shown, countless times.

A foreign nation does NOT have America's interests at heart - and that is entirely understandable; they place their own domestic interests first.  Perhaps certain American entities, political parties, and individuals should wake up, and apply the same reasoning to their own nation
